Our commitment to responsible business
At HEPF, we believe that how we build matters as much as what we build. As a Swiss provider of modular container solutions serving clients across Switzerland, Germany, and the wider European market, we hold ourselves to standards that go beyond legal minimums. This statement sets out the principles that guide our conduct, our partnerships, and our supply chain.
Compliance with the law
We operate in full accordance with the laws and regulations of Switzerland and of every market in which we do business. This includes employment law, health and safety regulations, data protection requirements, environmental standards, and all applicable building and product safety codes. Compliance is the foundation of our business, not a box to be ticked.
Fair labour and human rights
We do not tolerate forced labour, child labour, human trafficking, or any form of modern slavery, within our own operations or anywhere in our supply chain. We expect every production partner and supplier we work with to uphold the same standard. Our manufacturing partners across Europe and Asia are held to consistent expectations on fair wages, safe working conditions, reasonable working hours, and the freedom of workers to associate.
Responsible supply chain
We choose our production and logistics partners carefully and maintain long-term relationships built on shared standards. Where our materials or components carry a risk of originating from conflict-affected regions or unethical sourcing, we work to verify their provenance and to act in line with applicable Swiss due-diligence obligations. We continually review our supply chain to identify and address risks.
Environmental responsibility
Modular construction is, by its nature, a more resource-efficient way to build, our units are designed for reuse, relocation, and long service life rather than single-use disposal. Beyond this, we work to minimise waste in our processes, to source responsibly where we can, and to support clients who are pursuing their own sustainability goals through adaptable, long-lasting infrastructure.
Integrity and anti-corruption
We do not offer, give, or accept bribes, kickbacks, or any form of improper inducement. We compete on the quality of our products and the strength of our service, not on improper advantage. We expect honesty and transparency in all our dealings, with clients, suppliers, authorities, and one another.
Data protection and privacy
We treat the personal data of our clients, partners, and employees with care and in accordance with Swiss and European data protection law. We collect only what we need, use it only for legitimate purposes, and protect it with appropriate safeguards. Our full privacy statement sets out the detail.
Holding ourselves accountable
These commitments only mean something if we act on them. We welcome questions and concerns about our conduct from anyone, clients, partners, employees, or members of the public. If you believe we have fallen short of the standards set out here, we want to hear from you.
